Upon entering the event, we encourage you to move about the room and enjoy the full virtual experience by:

• Networking with others in attendance through the live chat function
• Learn about tonight’s award winners by viewing the presentation banners located throughout the room
• See who our generous sponsors are by viewing the large boards located on either side wall of the room
• And of course, watch the 2021 EEA Awards Show as it is “streamed live” at it’s scheduled time the night of the event

To help you enjoy this event to the fullest, we have put together a simple list of “TIPS” or instructions for you attendance experience:

Getting Started

• First - Upon entering their room, click on the “play button” icon located in the middle of the large video screen at the front of the room.
  • This will enable the countdown to the awards show to start or allow you to join the “live stream” of the show during its scheduled time
• Next - Sign into the live chat function located at the front of the room next to the giant video screen
  • we suggest you sign in with your full name and firm name. Example: Kurt Yoshi - Ninyo & Moore
  • once you have logged in as a guest, you may then personalize your profile even more if you choose
    • you may do this by clicking on the menu icon in the top right corner of the chat screen and follow the steps to “login with an email”
    • after completing this, you can then choice to upload an image to be shown with your profile name. Again, please use your full name and firm name as your user name. (Ex: Kurt Yoshi - Ninyo & Moore)

Room Functions:

• Live Chat - You can enter a message in the general group chat that will be seen by everyone in attendance or you can chat with attendees individually
  • you can click on the attendee icon in the top left of the chat screen and click on the attendee to see their profile and to send them a direct message
• Award Winners - As you move about the room by holding and dragging your mouse for a 360 degree view, you can click on the “active icon” located above a banner and this will allow you to scroll through and read about the different projects being recognized
• Sponsors - You may click on the “active icon” above either of the wall banners to see our generous sponsors... maybe give them a “Shout out” in the group chat
• The Award Show Presentation - Make sure you have clicked the play button on the giant video screen to enable the countdown or the “live stream” and sit back and enjoy the show!
• Virtual Help - There are also “active icons” located on the front and back walls of the room that you can click on to get this same list of tips or instructions at any time
